Black Water tank problem
I have a friend with a Class C Motor Home, Not sure of the make or brand but he is having a real bad problem with black water tank odor. He's done all the usual stuff. Wanded out the tank several times, flushed black and grey tanks several times, inspected and repaired a disconnected vent stack. Tonight he put about two cups of bleach in the black tank, filled it completely and went out to let it sit for awhile. A few moments later he tells me he hears an explosion! Mist in the air, looking down toilet showing mist and green and blue liquid. Odor is terrific! He tried to flush again and another explosion!?! What the heck is going on here? I thought the sound was probably a tank burp due to an improperly vented tank, but he said it was like a shotgun blast. He's really frustrated and quite concerned. Since this happened at night he's not too sure if the tanks are still intact until tomorrow morning. I've never heard of such a problem before and can't advise him. Odor is so bad that it woke up neighboring RVers at 2am complaining.
Hope you can help,

RE: Cannot acquire Dish Network signal
Hi All,
First I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone that responded to my problem. I have struggled along having a real difficult time getting the sat signals until just recently when I discovered by accident what was causing the problem.
Before even trying for the first time to find the satellites, I bought a satellite finder from Radio Shack. After having very little luck locating the signal, I stopped using the homemade mount that I made which is attached to my ladder on the rear of the RV. Depending where I'm parked, I can never ensure that the mount was plumb or level. Second, I replaced my mount with a tripod but I still was having great difficulty getting the signal.
After a few months of this and one night in particular, I gave trying to find the signal after THREE hours of trying. I removed my sat finder and went inside disgusted. Just as I went to shut off the TV, I had both sats coming in clear as a bell!! The problem all along was the stupid sat finder! I now either use the finder to locate the signal then remove it to fine tune or not use it at all and just rotate the dish until I have tone. I can now get that dang signal in about 5-10 minutes!
Problem Solved!
